Hello everyone my name is Jesse Witchen, and I have been in the art industry for 40 years. I started out doing calligraphy letters with the old ink well pens at the tender age of 7. I always loved art and what it could create. I would always sit at my fathers and grandfathers drafting table doing drawings with them as they were drafters doing buildings and mapping out survey lines, as I grew older I grew to like tattoos so at the age of 13 me and my best friend built our very first tattoo machine because back then we could just not order it on the web there wasn’t one. It was kind of crude looking but it was wireless and it worked. As I grew older I did some traveling all over the east coast and alittle out west, all along soaking up all the information I could about tattooing and in the year 2012 I opened up my very first tattoo shop Willows ink. That was my very first introduction to professional tattooing. I enjoy doing all forms of tattooing the only thing I don’t do is portrait work. I stayed open until my former wife sold everything out from under me in 2022 but I picked myself back up and started again which is when I found inklanation. I started here in June 2024 and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else it’s a great place to work and get tattoos. A lot of my clients tell me I'm light-handed and most of them fall asleep in my chair I hope to see you all soon and thanks for taking the time to get to know alittle about me.
